Seokchon Lake gives this walk its structure: begin at Jamsil, explore the East Lake promenade, then continue to West Lake and finish at Samjeondo Monument.

This editorial route stays on public paths. The nearby tower, theme park and other ticketed attractions are separate visits. Seasonal flowers, event access and an uninterrupted circuit are not promised.

Notice along the way

  • East Lake's waterside promenade
  • A change of perspective around West Lake
  • A finish at Samjeondo Monument

Your route, stop by stop

Every range is an editorial planning allowance, not an official walking time or field measurement. The core route uses public outdoor paths and contains no ticketed admission, so no entry queue is invented. Travel to the starting exit and all optional indoor attractions are excluded. Add your selected buffer once; the return leg applies only when selected.

  1. 01

Continue from East Lake to West Lake

The two basins are separated by Songpa-daero. Use the currently signed pedestrian connection or marked crossings; this allowance makes no promise of a sheltered or step-free link.

Additional editorial allowance: 15–25 minutes.

Before you go

  • Check the official lake information and on-site notices for path restrictions or events. A published public-park listing is not a live access report.
  • This route is outdoors. Review current weather and warnings yourself; the scenario selector does not supply a forecast or certify safe conditions.
  • The plan includes no tower, aquarium or theme-park admission. Any added attraction needs its own ticket, access and timing checks.
  • For the museum alternative, check the operator's current exhibition and visitor information. Closing days can vary.

Check your company’s needs

Step-free access

Continuous step-free access from Exit 2 through both lake sections and the monument has not been verified.

Stroller access

The presence of maintained promenades does not confirm every entrance, connector or temporary diversion is stroller-accessible.

Suitability for children

The complete walk has not been assessed for child suitability. Keep children supervised near the water and crossings, and shorten the route to suit your group.

A separate indoor idea

Check LOTTE Museum of Art
