Begin with the whole journey
Confirm station lifts, the chosen exit, crossings, toilets and the entrance you will actually use. An accessible museum does not establish step-free access along every approach street.
Ask the specific question
Stroller access, step-free access and suitability for children are separate checks. A place being open to the public does not answer all three. Our planner marks whole-route conditions as unverified when we lack enough evidence.
Leave room to stop
Set an explicit break buffer and choose a shorter route when needed. Meals, shopping, special exhibitions and children’s programs are outside a route unless the guide explicitly includes them. Check each operator’s age and booking rules.
